hundreds of cases prior to prosecution

• Under Scott’s leadership the DNR:
– Made significant progress in the largest sediment clean-up project in the nation in the Fox River watershed;
– Eliminated permit backlogs;
– Acquired nearly 200,000 acres of
public lands or easements;
– Streamlined the air and water permit process; and
– Confronted the challenges of
ChronicWasting Disease (CWD).
